Newly surfaced texts have proven law enforcement knew of Donald Trump’s would-be assassin nearly two hours before the shooting. Officials previously claimed that Thomas Matthew Crooks was noticed by agents roughly an hour before. The New York Times obtained texts between members of the Beaver County Emergency Service Unit. The unit member’s texts provide a far more solid and earlier timeline leading up to Crook’s opening fire at the Pennsylvania rally.
