The Linenhall Arts Centre is delighted to bring you a series of beginner Sean Nós Dance tutorials for young people. Find a pair of comfortable shoes and start stepping! Over four weeks award winning dancer, choreographer and teacher Liam Scanlon will take you through a series of basic steps to build your dance repertoire. From shuffles to stamps you’ll be dancing in style in no time. A Masters graduate in Traditional Dance Performance at the Irish World Academy, and winner of the coveted Corn TG4 at Oireachtas na Gaeilge, choreographer and performer Liam Scanlon’s art is firmly rooted in a sean nós and percussive dance tradition. Please note that these workshops are completely free.
