We hope you enjoy our arrangement of two of the most quintessential Christmas tunes! Irving Berlin wrote “White Christmas” for the 1942 film “Holiday Inn,” which starred Bing Crosby and Fred Astaire. It was later featured in another film of all music by Berlin, “White Christmas” (1954), with Bing, Danny Kaye, Rosemary Clooney and Vera-Ellen. Crosby’s recording of it was an international sensation and secured a place on pop charts for 18 consecutive years. John Lord Pierpont (incidentally, the uncle of financier John Pierpont Morgan) composed the tune, “One Horse Open Sleigh” in 1857, drawing on his memories of snowy winters in Massachusetts. It was renamed a couple of years later with the more commonly known title, “Jingle Bells.” Bing swung his way through this winter classic in 1943 in a memorable version with the Andrews Sisters. ▶️ If you enjoyed this video, please subscribe to our channel! ▶️ If you like the music we play (four-hands piano, classic
