i bought a used 03 Giant DH Comp for the 8“ of suspension, tested it out as is, and then installed kiwi's dropout adapters, plopped in a crystalyte hs3540, and beat pretty hard on it, dashing about here and there w/ 20s lipo pack. then i got a new motor, laced it into a 19 x motorcycle wheel w/ a dual sport tire. it got insanely hot so i sealed the sidecovers and tested out oil cooling, using dextron ATF. worked great! until i got some leaks - hence the paper towel around the axle in a couple shot
