The National Union of Journalists have issued an extraordinary statement of support for BBC’s Mishal Husain after Israeli spokesperson David Mencer attacked her and questioned her integrity during an interview. Rifat Jawaid says that BBC ought to have raised this issue seriously to protect the safety of one of its employees.
