Kharkov. Fascist Bandera Flag at City Council. 09 Aug 2014 (Ukraine)

Maidan activists organized a march demanding the resignation of Kharkov mayor Gennady Kernes. He’s called a separatist, this despite having advocated for a unified Ukraine. Their slogan: ‘Kharkov Without Gepa’ (his nickname). Kernes had survived an assasssination attempt 28 April. He obliquely implicates Kiev bosses. The Women’s Movement of Kharkov is resolutely anti-Maidan. They gathered at the City Council to support Kernes and his effective administration of Kharkov. Their slogan is ‘Kernes is Our Mayor!
