Thought to be Selected Originals from late 1940s material. A short trailer film encouraging people to save waste paper. An actor playing an Arabian prince sits in a tent with his harem. A comic looking man wearing a bowler hat and carrying a large box walks in. He present the box to the Prince and the ladies start pulling out the packing paper and pull a vacuum clear from the box. The voiceover explains that the country needs paper and cardboard to package exports. VS of foreign goods being imported into Britain. VS of people collecting waste paper. The voiceover tells us that all this waste paper can be used to make cardboard and wrapping paper. VS of people throwing paper away. MS of harem woman using Hoover in front of amazed Prince and other wives. The voiceover says that if we don't get enough paper the export trade will vanish into thin air and to illustrate the point, that is what happens to the Vacuum cleaner. The Prince starts to cry.
