Sky News host James Morrow says former House speaker Nancy Pelosi informed the House of Representatives that she was served with a subpoena to produce documents in a criminal case in California. “She got served with a third-party subpoena as part of an undisclosed criminal investigation,” Mr Morrow said. Mr Morrow said sources indicate that the subpoena was mostly likely related to the upcoming trial of Paul Pelosi's alleged assailant in a violent home invasion earlier this year. “There are a few theories going around but sources indicate that the subpoena most likely has to do with the bizarre hammer attack on Nancy Pelosi’s husband at the start of this year, which is still the subject of a great deal of speculation. “Why would that mean Nancy would have to be subpoenaed to produce documents in this criminal case?”
