Big thanks for all the support on the previous video - I wanted to do a longer breakdown video this time - one of the aims of the channel is sharing knowledge so in this video I'll give a sort of birds eye view of processes I use to create 3D models, animate them and add effects. Not so much a tutorial as more of a process video, though I think some of the techniques definitely warrant a couple of tutorials! Info for those interested - I'm mainly using Maya and Houdini, rendering with Arnold and occasionally Mantra. I forgot to mention anything about Zbrush in the video, but that was also used in some stages of modeling. Comping was a mix of Fusion and Nuke - any shot that has more DOF I used Nuke because it has a better DOF node.
