๐๐ฎ๐ ๐๐๐ฟ๐ฏ๐ถ๐ป๐ฒ ๐ฐ๐ผ๐บ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐๐๐ผ๐ฟ ๐๐ฎ๐๐ต๐ถ๐ป๐ด is a critical maintenance practice aimed at removing dirt, debris, and contaminants from the compressor blades and stators. There are two primary methods of compressor washing: online washing and offline washing. 1. ๐ถ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ช๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐พ๐๐๐๐๐๐ (๐ฎ๐ป ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐)Online compressor washing involves cleaning the compressor while the gas turbine is still running and generating power. This method is preferred for continuous operation without the need to shut down the turbine. Online washing typically uses DM water for cleaning. 2. ๐ถ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ช๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐พ๐๐๐๐๐๐Offline compressor washing is a maintenance procedure conducted on gas turbines to clean their compressor blades and vanes when the turbine is not in operation. In order to carry out gas turbine off-line washing, the turbine must be stopped. Then a thorough cleansing process can begin during which foulants are removed. This is usually carried out in stages including the application of a cleaning solution followed by a series of rinse cycles. Each of these cycles requires the turbine to be rotated on cranking speed and then left to slowly come to a stop. After this sequence, the remaining salts are dissolved by leaving them to soak in the cleaning solution.
