Some countries don’t have such varying daylight hours between summer and winter, however in Scotland during the longest night of the year, we have around 17 hours of darkness! Comparing this to the shortest night of the year which is in June, there is only around 6 hours of darkness. In this video, I go on a campervan road trip in Dumfries and Galloway in Southern Scotland on the longest night of the year and explore a beautiful corner of the countryside.
