Joe Biden was spotted cozying up to a 6-year-old girl at a Thanksgiving event on Sunday, causing eyebrows everywhere to shoot upwards. During a ‘Friendsgiving’ event at a Virginia naval base, Biden can be seen making a beeline for the little girl, bending down and almost touching her but evidently thinking better of it, as she wraps her arms around herself defensively. Biden then attempts some female bonding, complimenting the girl’s cat ear headband. ‘I love your ears, I love ‘em,’ drools Biden, before asking, ’How old are you, 17?’ ‘Six,’ replies the poor bemused girl, silently vowing never to wear cat ears ever again. Reactions online were about as you’d expect, with viewers calling the interaction ‘disturbing,’ ‘creepy’ and ‘cringe.’ Funny, you’d think they’d be used to this sort of thing by now
