The project aims to achieve precise targeting of a hovering balloon by a model-guided rocket through multi-stage navigation and target recognition technology. After the subsequent flight control code debugging is completed, an aerial shooting test will be conducted at an opportune time. The target selected is a red latex balloon with a diameter of 1.5 meters, which will be stably suspended in a predetermined airspace by a quadcopter. The rocket will be launched from a ground launch platform. Due to the limitations of the guidance camera's performance, this project adopts a staged guidance strategy. In the initial stage of the launch, the rocket will rely on an inertial navigation system (INS) and a global navigation satellite system (GNSS) for trajectory control. Once the target enters the effective recognition range of the camera, the system will automatically switch to vision-based terminal guidance. The rocket is powered by the self-developed CPSRM-R-30A micro solid rocket engine.
