Hy. Mayer (Henry?) draws a cartoon for the Pathe camera. Through stop frame animation we see the cartoon take shape. The words: “This is a triangle calling for its young“ appear. Other, smaller triangles move towards the large triangle. The triangles form a design and the hand of Hy. Mayer draws in a face - the triangles form the shape of the face of a Chinese man. More triangles are drawn which are then made to represent different family members: “Pa ’n’ Ma, Auntie, Cousin Phil and Uncle Eb’.“ A pair of scissors appears. Through stop frame animation the scissors move around. There is then a camera dissolve into a drawing of a man whose large moustache and spectacles look like the scissors. Was an item in Pathe Pictorial issue number 624. Safety print only - decomposition damage throughout. FILM ID: A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ. EXPLORE OUR ONLINE CHANNEL, BRITISH PATHÉ TV.
