Common Africa names for the talking drum are: Akan languages (Fante, Twi, Baoule) - Dondo, Odondo Bambara, Bozo, Dyula - Tamanin Dagbani, Gurunsi - Lunna or Donno Hausa - Kalangu, Dan karbi, Igbo - Igba Songhai - Doodo Serer,Wolof,Mandinka - Tama or Tamma Yoruba - Dundun, Gangan
