Yitzhak Navon is one of Israel’s newest railway stations, and one of the world’s deepest at 80 meters below ground. Sometimes called Hauma, this station has multiple levels, a sleek modern design, vaulted glass ceilings, and mosaics on the walls. With over 5,500 square meters of space underground, it can also serve as a refuge for 5,000 people in an emergency situation. It’s named after Yitzhak Navon, a Jerusalem native and Israel’s fifth president. Wikipedia: –Yitzhak_Navon_railway_station Autumn, Friday, 10AM Instagram: Become a member to show your support!
