Battle Angel Alita CGI Motorball feat. The Anix _Incomplete (Instrumental)_

This footage is from the re-release of the Battle Angel Alita (Gunnm) graphic novels, re-titled Gunnm: Complete Edition. In volume 6 (released in 2000), a DVD was included called Gunnm 3D Special, which is where this footage comes from. The CGI may look dated now but at the time it was better than most that were out there. I’m setting it to the instrumental version of “Incomplete“ by The Anix, which is the perfect song for any type of high-speed track, real or virtual. The combination of the two seems a perfect way to honor and celebrate Yukito Kishiro’s beloved characters, his legacy, finally being brought to the big screen by James Cameron and Robert Rodriguez.
