I bought it online from a private guy for under 10$ - the restoration took about 30 hours. This Iron has several modes, which works by a potentiometer connected to the selector. The modes are OFF/ON/SYNTETIC SILK/SILK/COTTON/LINEN. After a first inspection of the iron I started disassembling this tool. The plating was rusted, the handles paint was chipped off, the power plug was broken. After disassembling i started with the restoration of this old iron. It all began with a nice wash of all the parts in a water/multicleaner mix, to remove loosen dirt and other stuff. Next s
