FOR ALL WHO ARE CONFUSED WITH THE EMBLEM COUNT: It takes 3 emblems for that slash, and he can hold only 20! After 6 slashes (3x6=18) 2 remain but the blade still works, only range gets shorter to half, you need to get closer to hit him with that at that moment, but the damage remains same, so don’t worry about the emblems!
