Get Your FREE Event Ticket: South East Construction Expo: A ‘must visit’ for anyone in development, property & construction In an effort to meet today’s acute Housing deficit, European Global manufacturing giant, Xella, in association with Masonry Frame Systems and Lissmac – are set to undertake a live demonstration to illustrate how their DfMA solutions, more than meet today’s MMC demands. As proud Headline Sponsors of South East Construction Expo 2019, Xella UK will be using the event to showcase the speed, precision and quality of their large format masonry blocks, that are the Silka Element system. This focus reflects their recent investment and increased prominence in London and the South East. The Silka Element challenge is to complete the construction of a one-bedroom apartment – with structural walls – ready to receive the Precast Floors, live at the Construction Expo Show. The build progress will be visible throughout the day and attendees to the show are encouraged to visit the ‘Xella Lounge’ situated behind the construction area, to learn more about the Silka Element system large format blocks and thin joint methods. Visitors will be able to observe the Masonry Frame Systems team hard at work laying each Silka block, using the Lissmac mini-cranes, in approximately six minutes. The speed of construction has to truly be seen, to be believed! Xella will also be showcasing their development of the Hololens and Virtual Reality AI system in their Building of the Future presentation.
