The Joffrey Academy Presents Winning Works Reimagined: The World Premiere of B O R D E R S

“B O R D E R S” by choreographer Chanel DaSilva imagines the boundaries—both literal and figurative—that people place on themselves and others. DaSilva challenges the audience to look at how they separate themselves from others in the world, whether through physical means or psychological ones. Winning Works 2021 is presented virtually as part of the Joffrey Studio Series. Performances highlight original works created by the winners of the Joffrey Academy’s Winning Works choreographic competition and feature students of the Joffrey Academy of Dance, Official School of The Joffrey Ballet.
