Radio Day in Russia has been celebrated annually on May 7 since 1945. The date was chosen for a reason. On this day, 128 years ago, Russian engineer Alexander Popov presented a device he created for transmitting signals at a distance. Congratulations to signalmen, digital technology workers and, of course, radio and television broadcasting employees. On this date, watch our video and the documentary 'Two Homelands.
