Talking about Money in Japanese

In this video I talk about expressions related to money. We make comments about money every day, ask price and talk about cost of doing something. I guess many of you already know phrases like 「いくらですか」「高いです」「安いです」, but I suppose not all of you know that in many situations Japanese people ask price adding する after いくら, say 「いくらしますか」. There are also some phrases you can use when evaluating a price. In English also, people use other phrases than “expensive“ and “cheap“, you can also say words like “hefty“ “costly“ “pricey“ “economical“ “reasonable“, to make a comment about a price. Each word has its unique nuance and people use it in different situations in different ways and it's the same in Japanese. Peo
