The East & The West / Live in Seattle November 29th 1989. Coming to you from THE CENTRAL TAVERN. This performance is from a series of Lost & Re-discovered original Seattle Music videos & short films I created in the early Grunge days. Relax & Take in the Low Fi grooves from simpler days gone by. “The East & The West” had there own unique style & sound like no other. Drummer Matt Brookhart once described there sound to me as anti lead singer groove music. No one in Seattle at that time had any idea of what was possible once the “Outsider” music scene started to take off. Note: Orignal members of “The East & The West” Jeff Moore & Kelly Johnson went on to join Brad Kok from “Son of Man” & help create what would become “ POT HEAD” Hope you enjoy, Jared.
