007 likes playing games. Especially Baccarat, Craps, Blackjack, and Poker. Here's every time James Bond hangs out at the casino. PATREON: PROTOKINO: INSTAGRAM: Baccarat or baccara (/ˈbækəræt, bɑːkəˈrɑː/; French: [bakaʁa]) is a card game played at casinos. It is a comparing card game played between two hands, the “player“ and the “banker“. Each baccarat coup (round of play) has three possible outcomes: “player“ (player has the higher score), “banker“, and “tie“. There are three popular variants of the game: punto banco (or “North American baccarat“), baccarat chemin de fer (or “chemmy“), and baccarat banque (or à deux tableaux). In punto banco, each player's moves are forced by the cards the player is dealt. In baccarat chemin de fer and baccarat banque, by contrast, both players can make choices. The winning odds are in favor of the bank, with a house edge no lower than around 1 percent. The origins of the game are disputed, and some sources claim that it dates to the 19th century. Other sources claim that the game was introduced into France from Italy at the end of the 15th century by soldiers returning from the Franco-Italian War during the reign of Charles VIII. Craps is a dice game in which players bet on the outcomes of a pair of dice. Players can wager money against each other (playing “street craps“) or against a bank (“casino craps“). Because it requires little equipment, “street craps“ can be played in informal settings. While shooting craps, players may use slang terminology to place bets and actions. Blackjack (formerly Black Jack and Vingt-Un) is a casino banking game. The most widely played casino banking game in the world, it uses decks of 52 cards and descends from a global family of casino banking games known as Twenty-One. This family of card games also includes the British game of Pontoon and the European game, Vingt-et-Un. Blackjack players do not compete against each other. The game is a comparing card game where each player competes against the dealer. Poker is a family of card games in which players wager over which hand is best according to that specific game's rules in ways similar to these rankings. While the earliest known form of the game was played with just 20 cards, today it is usually played with a standard deck, although countries where short packs are common, may play with 32, 40 or 48 cards. Thus poker games vary in deck configuration, the number of cards in play, the number dealt face up or face down, and the number shared by all players, but all have rules that involve one or more rounds of betting. Poker has increased in popularity since the beginning of the 20th century and has gone from being primarily a recreational activity confined to small groups of enthusiasts to a widely popular activity, both for participants and spectators, including online, with many professional players and multimillion-dollar tournament prizes.
