Behind the scenes of the docking system for China's Tiangong-2 space lab. Tiangong-2 will launch in 2016 and soon after dock in orbit with the similarly-equipped crewed Shenzhou-11 spacecraft and Tianzhou-1 cargo ship. The space lab is designed to test regenerative life support system and upgraded technology ahead of the launch of the core module of the future Chinese space station in 2018. Footage comes from the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (中国航天科技集团公司).
