Originally from Britain, the band began as The Mustangs in 1964. The band left Hull for London where they played the pub and club circuit as The Majority, which garnered them a recording contract with Decca, and a handful of singles including A Little Bit of Sunlight (a Kinks-Ray Davies composition) and fan favourite All Our Christmasses, but nothing to put them on the charts. They renamed the group Majority Onein 1969 after relocating to France from the UK. There, they recorded an album on the Pink Elephant label by corralling earlier singles and incorporating newer material. It's a very good album as seen in the rear-view mirror but at that time fell a few years behind; the sound was 60s psych-pop and the 70s were looking for a different sound. This album was released on the Pink Elephant label in 1971. This track has a Macca vibe to it.
