It is a copy after an original Viennese instrument made by Anton Walter in 1785 that is part of the instrument collection “ Monika May / Gerald Woehl” Marburg. ~ The Arpeggione is an original instrument from 1847 made by Georg Tiefenbruner in Munich. Compared to other surviving instruments it has a rather small corpus, more likely a guitar than a cello, although it is a melt down of these two. The bow is a violin bow made by Thomas M.
