Because the reality is that an action like this can be accessed in many ways and at speed, under pressure, it’s probably going to get fairly messy, our opponent won’t be compliant and it would be frenzied. Remember the sword is just a tool and it’s the same weapon for both disciplines. Theres nothing at all to say you have to keep both hands on it at all times or to use the weapon exclusively with just one hand either.
