The Setun computer was a weird beast, built in 1958. Unlike any other computer before and since, it used ternary arithmetic and logic. With a ram limited to 54 words (162 Trytes), and a storage of 1944 Trytes, it outperformed the binary computer that replaced it, while costing about a third of its price.
