El universo musical de Friedrich Nietzsche

This program, consisting of extracts from different Wagner operas in free transcriptions by the performer, the pianist Stefan Mickisch, is a musical version of the true “Wagner case” in Nietzsche’s life and work. An output marked by love and hate, passion and rejection, and which constitutes a giant frieze of permanent musical disquisition. Readings from some of the texts the philosopher dedicated to the composer are also interspersed, recited offstage by the actor Pedro Casablanc, which contextualize Nietzsche’s discourse and its reception of Wagnerian music.
