Israels increasingly aggressive against Iranian targets in Syria

Syrian state media has accused Israel of conducting the strikes around the northern city of Aleppo overnight, saying a number of civilians and military personnel were killed. The state media did not reveal what the target was, but activists on the ground say that a weapons depot was hit, killing up to 37 people. They say Syrian soldiers as well as Hezbollah fighters, which has a military presence in Syria, were killed. Recently, we have seen almost consecutive Israeli strikes in Syria as it widely hits Iranian targets in Syria. For years now, Israel’s strategy has been to prevent Iran from militarily entrenching itself in Syria. But, recently, they have a much more aggressive posture, conducting more, and less constrained attacks, in terms of casualties. They are going after the members of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard.
