A growing body of research is raising questions about the dangers of cell phone radiation. But federal regulators – who rely on standards established in 1996 – say there’s nothing to worry about. The FCC is responsible for protecting Americans from potential radiation hazards generated by cell phones. But the agency has repeatedly sided with the telecom industry in denying the possibility of virtually any human harm, resulting in state and local governments being stonewalled from taking action to block cell towers to protect the health of their citizens. American citizens deserve the truth about cell phone safety and feel empowered to protect themselves. And they deserve to have their legal rights prioritized over those of wireless network companies.
