Seraphim highlights the witness of recent men who have faithfully witnessed to the vital importance of the Holy Fathers, such as St. Ignatius Brianchaninov, St. Theophan the Recluse, and Archbishop Theophan of Poltava ( 1940). He discusses how knowing the teachings of the Fathers guides us amidst growing modern academia, ecumenism, and other soul destroying falsehoods and heresies.
