It’s been ten years since Casey Stoner last raced at the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit, and nine years since he visited the region that made him an Australian legend. You’d be hard pressed to find someone who hasn’t heard of Casey Stoner, the Queenslander’s name is synonymous with MotoGP™ and for good reason. A two-time World Champion, Stoner’s first win on home soil in 2007 kick-started a run of six consecutive wins at Phillip Island, with 2012 marking the final time he’d stand atop the Australian podium. Now, a decade later, he’s back.
