Costars Who Hated Each Other So Much It Almost Derailed The Movie

Actors gonna be dramatic, you dig? And that drama even occurs off-camera. Numerous stars throughout history have had spats with their fellow performers. Of course, we gotta start with the most obvious: an on-set feud so bad it actually created a spin-off film in the form of Hobbs and Shaw: that’s right, it’s Vin Diesel versus Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Turns out Vin Diesel is pretty protective of both his image and his vroom vroom franchise and, according to the family man himself, he had to use a little “tough love” to get the necessary performance out of his co-star beginning in Fast Five. Beyond that one, we also talk about the famed rivalry between Joan Crawford and Bette Davis, as well as the battles between such major players as Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams, Claire Danes and Leonardo DiCaprio, James Franco and Tyrese Gibson, and Bill Murray and Lucy Liu. In fact, there were a bunch of feuds we had to cut from this list because there’s just so much to each of these.
