US seizes Venezuelan presidents plane, citing sanctions violations

A plane used by Venezuela’s President Maduro is now in U.S. custody after federal authorities seized the aircraft in the Caribbean and brought it back to Florida. Officials say the aircraft was illegally purchased through a shell company and smuggled out of the United States, violating sanctions and export control laws.
