Police spokesperson Guy Buchar said the rocket was part of a larger barrage that was mostly intercepted and that the impact on the southbound route caused shrapnel to injure a bus driver travelling on the other side of the road. Around three people in total were injured, he said. Iran-backed Hezbollah said it had fired a barrage of missiles into Israel on Tuesday, including at its spy agency near Tel Aviv, as Israel said commando and paratroop units launched raids into Lebanon as part of a “limited“ ground incursion.
