Our latest glulam project we are currently working on. Video shows a production process of 12 meter roof trusses with hidden steel which will be assembled in near future. Each truss consists from top and bottom chords with 14x20cm, and webs with 12x12 cm cross section. Timber used is spruce glulam in gl32 strength class. Steel pins are 8.8 class. All steel pieces are galvanized. Each wooden interior beam was milled on a milling robot. Slits were milled using a robot mounted chainsaw or with a chain mortiser. Visible parts were painted with polyurethane matte varnish and hidden parts with two coats of fungicide solution.
