X-Men (season 1, episode 12)

“Days of the Future Past, part two“ Release date: 03-20-93 Plot: Bishop (who believes Gambit to be the Assassin) and the X-Men go to Washington and stop the assassination of Senator Kelly. Gambit is ordered to stay behind with Wolverine and Bishop but he sneaks off to Washington and arrives just in time to prevent a duplicate “Gambit“ from assassinating Senator Kelly. It is soon revealed that the duplicate Gambit was Mystique in disguise (who attempted to frame Gambit and the X-Men for the assassination under orders from Apocalypse). Bishop sees the two Gambits fighting and attempts to kill them both - only to be stopped by Rogue. Bishop returns to find the future unchanged. Note: The Punisher shows up on a video-game cartridge and Jean makes a reference to her “dark“ past. Tombstones appear for Cyclops (2032), Rogue (2033), Storm (2021), and Jubilee (2010).
