It starts from the cruise terminal and ends at the Guanyin Mountain Dream Beach. Along the route, there are “eight mountains and three waters“ such as Jinshan, Lakeside Reservoir, and Wuyuan Bay. The trail is not affected by ground vehicle traffic, and passes through high-density residential and commercial areas in the urban area, connecting the urban landscape with the natural scenery, forming a mountain-sea pedestrian corridor. The Xiamen Shanhai Health Trail is built on the mountain, and in the design and construction, the original vegetation is preserved as much as possible to show the natural wildness. There are 16 landscape check-in points, 12 characteristic landscape parks, and multiple viewing platforms on the entire trail. Standing on the health trail, you can enjoy the Xianyue Mountain, the white sails in the Huaiwuyuan Bay, and the beautiful scenery of the Eight Mountains and Three Waters of Ludao Island. -------------------⭐⭐ Xiamen is a port city on China’s southeast coast, across a strait from Taiwan. It encompasses 2 main islands and a region on the mainland. Formerly known as Amoy, it was a British-run treaty port from 1842 to 1912. Many Europeans and Japanese lived on Gulangyu, today a vehicle-free island with beaches and meandering streets lined with old colonial villas. Located at the southeast coast of China, Xiamen is a tourist city of Fujian Province famous for its attractive seascape. As one of the major seaports since ancient times, it boasts a wide gulf with deep water but without freezing and silting. The name was consequently given, which means 'the gate of China'. As one of the forerunners of the special economic zones of China, the city mainly consisting of Xiamen Island, Gulangyu Island, the north bank area of the Jiulong River and Tong'an County, is connected with the mainland by the Gaoji Seawall, Xiamen Bridge, etc. The city has been called the Egret Island because of the hundreds of thousands of egrets inhabiting there. This is due to the beautiful natural scenery, the fresh air and the clean environment of the city. -------------------⭐⭐ Xiamen Overview -------------------⭐⭐ Xiamen City, considered one of the most pleasant cities in China, is today a symbol of China’s economic success.
