A far departure from the fast, dry course from years past, the 2022 Snowshoe World Cup was an absolute mudfest, with parts of the track closely resembling a late-season cyclocross course. Cannondale Factory Racing's Mona Mitterwallner, Henrique Avancini, and Alan Hatherly stayed focused all weekend – finding grip where they could and pushing the pace at every opportunity. Though the course was muddy, the rain held off for Friday's XCC race. Alan's 6th place finish earned him the XCC leaders jersey and Mona's 7th place finish secured her a front row start for the XCO race. The skies opened up on Sunday and made the already technical Snowshoe XCO track even more treacherous. Mona raced aggressively, chasing the lead group, and picking off riders each lap to finish 4th on the day. Alan and Henrique both rode strong races to finish 8th and 29th respectively. The squad now packs up their Scalpels and head directly to Mont-Sainte-Anne where they'll race the 8th round
