The city that returns to the Soviet Union.🚄 Shadrinsk is a small town located in Kurgan oblast. It was founded in 1662. The town has not changed much in recent years and it shows what cities looked like in the Soviet Union. ✔️Distance to the Moscow is 1978 km. ✔️The population: 74400 people. The town gave the name to a breed of geese, which are called “Shadrinsky goose“.🦢 In 1821, a local merchant Fetisov released two hundred crayfish into the river opposite Shadrinsk and they took root there.🦀 The town almost completely burned down in a fire in 1733. It was rebuild later.🏗 The city is full of old two-storey mansions and wooden houses. The city seems to be moving to the Russian 90s or early 00s, and it will be interesting to see it for those who are interested in what the Soviet Union looked like.
