Italy: Coast Guard picks up 107 refugees off the coast of Lampedusa

The Italian Coast Guard ship “Dattilo,” picked up 107 refugees were attempting to cross the Mediterranean on a makeshift raft, on Sunday off the coast of Lampedusa. The refugees were then transferred to two 300 class patrol boats, the CP302 and CP320, and taken to Lampedusa port.
