In this video we see how Quid software was used to map 24,000 stories using the online archive of TED lectures. The stories were clustered to form narrative spaces that were then analyzed. From the data we can see that the narrative on the environment is actually composed of many smaller sub-topics, from local farming through to nuclear fusion. Clear demographic splits also emerge: from the ideas that resonate with a youth audience to those that resonate outside of the United States. Quid technology is applied to understand narratives emerging from news articles, press releases and other unstructured data sources.
