Snake Rattle 'n' Roll is a video game developed by Rare and published by Nintendo, released for the NES in 1990. The music is by David Wise, a brilliant English composer who is also known for the music from other great games by Rare, such as BattleToads or the Donkey Kong Country series. David Wise shines through with very diverse styles of music. In Snake Rattle 'n' Roll, 1950s rock and roll is given pride of place, with the almost systematic use of the 12-bar blues progression for each track and the direct inspiration of the song “Shake, Rattle and Roll“ by Bill Haley for the opening/ending music of the game. Video recorded on February 06, 2022.
