The Lucie Clayton Mannequin School, Mayfair - London. Interior. L/S of a group of glamorous trainee models sat in two rows. Couturier Ronald Patterson stands at the front of the room by a desk, the first model, Liatt, walks round from the back up to the table, Ronald leans over and picks up a pair of spectacles from the table. He hands them to Liatt who puts them on, she then turns and shows them to the other ladies. M/S of Liatt as she poses in the gold horn-rimmed glasses with leaf motif. The narrator says the idea is to use spectacles as a fashion accessory in the same way as jewellery. Ronald takes the spectacles from Liatt and holds them up to her brocade bouffant dress in orange and gold to show they match the colour. Liatt walks away and the next model, Susan, comes up to the table, she is wearing a black velvet outfit. He gives her a pair of spectacles which she puts on and turns to the ladies watching.
