The Russian/Turkish co-production feature documentary, Rudolf Nureyev. His Island of Dreams, is now in post-production and scheduled for completion early in 2016. The film employs a mixture of fact and fiction to tell the story of the visits that the legendary ballet dancer made to Turkey between 1980 and 1990. It uses hitherto-unseen home-video footage taken at the time and combines this with present-day contributions from people who knew Nureyev. In particular his long-time friend Yasemine Pirincciogl
