Esther McVey MP speaks out about the Government's decision to remove Winter Fuel Payments.

Esther spoke in the debate against the Government's 'cruel' plan to remove Winter Fuel Payments from 10m pensioners. Generally, these are a cohort who have contributed their whole life and taken little from the state. She was keen to know more about what impact assessments had been done before the decision was made. Virtually all Labour MPs voted to remove the payment from pensioners in their constituencies.
