In 2001, archaeological excavations at Newbridge, near Edinburgh Airport, uncovered a surprising find – an Iron Age chariot burial, the first one known from Scotland. A carefully made replica of the chariot can be seen in the Celts exhibition at the National Museum of Scotland until 25 September 2016.
